9 months??

Oh my, i can hardly believe that it’s been over 9 months since I last wrote in my blog.  I could have had another kid by now!, lol.   My girl will be 3 this July and my boy just turned one last month….boy how time flies.  Every parent says that but you don’t really now how quickly it does go by once you do become a parent.  Things have been going good.  We took a family vacation to the Dominican Republic last February.  Not too much relaxing was done - between chasing after Stefania around the pool and making sure Matteo didn’t eat the sand at the beach, I definetly burned off everything I ate.  And what didn’t I eat?  All you can eat resorts can definetly be dangerous…all the food is laid out there for you, so appetizing saying “eat me , eat me now!!!”  I am looking forward to another vacation soon.  Anywhere with hot weather and beautiful beaches sounds good, or even a trip to Las Vegas.  A lot of parents leave their children behind, but I am not sure i can do that.. I would miss them after a day (I know it) and then not enjoy the rest of my trip.  I want to enjoy them as much as i can because before you know it, they will be all grown up and will rather be going on vacations with their friends..boohoo.  I like blogging, im going to try to fit this in my busy kid schedule.  Both my kids love for me to be around all the time, even when they are napping (it’s like they got radar on me 24/7) I am not complaing though, I love to feel needed.  Stefania has been very irritable lately because she was diagnosed with 6th disease aka “roseola” It’s a contagious childhood rashlike disease which comes about once a fever has broke.  We had a scare yesterday when she woke up from her afternoon nap with red patches and white raised welt-like bumsp on her legs, bum and arms.  I initially thought she had gotten burned from my mom’s gas fireplace, but my mom convinced my otherwise.  What is it about mothers???, they are always right!  Well, my mom anyway.  So we went to the clinic and then we went to Whitespot and tried to cheer Stefania up with a Pirate Pak.  She ended up eating half of Cos’s hamburger instead..lol  Stefania is napping in my arms right now and her rash seems to be going away.  At least i don’t have to worry about Matteo getting it because I think he got it once and when you get it once you are immune to it for life.  I remember when he was about 5 months old his cheeks were brighter than Santa Clauses for a day.  Well Stefania woke up and she wants water, I am off for now!
